Comparing baby products is easy enough when you’re looking at two very different brands, but when you have to choose between two products from the same great brand, it becomes a bit of a challenge. Lillebaby Airflow vs All Seasons Carrier: Which is Best?

Table of Contents

Well, I’ve gone through everything there is to know about the two carriers and condensed all the important information on their features, pros, and cons into this review article. I’ve also included my own personal opinion on which of the two is better and the reasons why I chose it.

Read through this article, and hopefully, after weighing all the pros and cons, at the end of it, you’ll know which of these two baby carriers is best for your particular needs. Both of these carriers are solid options that have a host of great features.

Although they are from the same brand and obviously have some similarities, they also have a lot of differences when it comes to the way they function and perform, and depending on each of your individual needs, one is going to come up better than the other.

In order to help you choose either confidently, here is a detailed review of each of them highlighting their best and worst properties.

LILLEbaby Airflow SIX-Position, 360° Ergonomic

One of the most important features of the baby carrier that you ultimately choose in the end is the type of material that is used to make it.

The Airflow carrier is made with mesh material which ensures plenty of cool airflow inside the carrier while you’re carrying your baby.

In a hot environment, the temperature coupled with your own body heat could make your baby seriously uncomfortable and this is where the Airflow has a distinct razor’s edge advantage over the All Season.

The design of this carrier not only keeps your baby cool but it also helps to keep you cool, too, ensuring more comfort for both you and your little one.

The breathable cotton material is durable and soft enough to be near your baby’s skin for long periods of time without causing any irritation or discomfort.

The ergonomic bucket seat on this carrier is adjustable and there is tall neck support that helps to cradle your toddler while supporting their neck no matter which of the six positions you’re carrying your baby in.

The Airflow carrier also comes with several zippered pockets that are ideal for storing yours and your baby’s belongings.

This is great because it means you don’t have to worry about carrying a wallet or purse when you leave the house with your baby, but you can just keep your phones, keys, and cards in those little pockets safely, leaving your hands free to do more important things like playing with your baby.

This also makes this carrier great for busy parents on the go who just want to grab the baby, strap it on and be out of the house in a matter of seconds without having to worry about finding purses and wallets.

The staps of the Lillebaby Airflow carrier now come with the option of wearing them either across your back or in a style like a backpack.

Whichever style suits you and feels more comfortable to you, there is a way to wear the Lillebaby Airflow Baby Carrier that way.

When you take in the whole picture of the Lillebaby Airflow baby carrier, you start to realize that they really did try to think of everything from baby’s comfort and yours to the convenience of giving you a place to stash your phone, keys, and even some of your baby’s things on the carrier.

Features

Weight Limit – The recommend weight range for the Airflow is 7 to 45 pounds.
Materials Used – 3D stretch material and cotton.
Positions – You can use the Airflow in 6 baby-wearing positions (baby facing parent, baby facing out, on the back, on the hip, and the unique fetal and infant positions.)

PROS
  • Carrier mesh material prevents your baby from overheating when you’re out and about having fun in the sun. This can be particularly useful in hot climates.
  • Ergonomic design supports your baby in a comfortable position no matter how you’re wearing them which helps to lessen fatigue and leaves you with a happy baby even after a lengthy period of time in the carrier.
  • Six different carry positions mean that you’ll always have a more comfortable option if you need to shift your baby around.
  • You also don’t have to buy an insert for your carrier if you have a really small baby which is great because it saves you money.
CONS
  • The hip position is a little hard to work out
  • Smaller-size parents may not find this a good fit
  • Carrier is a little bulkier than some are used to

LILLEbaby All Seasons SIX-Position, 360° Ergonomic

Same as the Airflow, this carrier from the same brand also has 3D breathable mesh, but the difference is that this one also comes with a very convenient temperature control panel that can be zipped up for warmth and opened up again to expose the mesh and let some air in, keeping your baby cool.

As with all other carriers from Lillebaby, the All Seasons carrier is lightweight and great to use during the summer months. When the flap is zipped up, it makes a wonderfully warm carrier that you and your baby will appreciate come the winter months.

This carrier also comes with the same 6 carry positions as the Airflow.

It also has a secure lumbar support feature to help ease the strain on your back if you have to carry your baby extended periods of time.

The ergonomic design is great for ensuring that your baby’s rides are as comfortable as possible. This carrier also comes with neck support for your infant baby or toddler and it too has straps that can be worn on the back or backpack style.

Features

Weight Limit – The range is the same as the Airflow: 7 to 45 pounds
Materials Used – 3D mesh fabric in addition to cotton (same as the Airflow)
Positions – With this carrier, you can wear your baby in six positions: Front facing parent, front facing out, hip carry, back carry, infant and fetal carry positions (again, same as the Airflow)

PROS
  • Carrier can be used comfortably for both warm and cooler months just by zipping the flap up or down
  • 6 Carry positions mean you can use this carrier from infancy up to toddlerhood and possibly even a little beyond that if need be
  • Comes with lumbar support which I think parents of larger children will certainly appreciate
  • Headrest and hood serve to make your baby even comfier inside the Lillebaby All Seasons Carrier
CONS
  • Not adequate side coverage which may hinder your ability to breastfeed when using the carrier
  • The shoulder strap comes unraveled faster in some carriers
  • For tall and thin parents, the longer straps seem awkward and too long once tightened into place

Final Verdict

Lillebaby offers a lot of different carriers for different people because they understand that it all comes down to personal preference and they want you to be able to find the best baby carrier for your needs no matter what those preferences are.

This brand only produces quality products, making it even more difficult to choose between these two carriers. But, if a choice has to be made between the Lillebaby Airflow Carrier and the Lillebaby All Seasons Baby Carrier, the winner has to be the All Seasons Carrier.

The reason I chose that carrier as the clear winner is because, in the long run, this is the one that you’re going to get the most use out of.

Although it’s a tad pricier than the Airflow, it makes sense to invest in the All Season Carrier because it’s a solid choice that gives you amazing value for money throughout all the seasons as the name implies.

If you go with the Airflow, you may find yourself needing to buy another carrier if all you have to shield your baby from the cold during the winter months is a lightweight carrier that is designed to let the air in!

When considering all the features together, the Airflow gives the All Seasons carrier a run for its money, but for me, the feature that allows the All Seasons to switch from breathable to warm in one easy zip-up pushes it ahead of the Airflow and right onto the first spot.
